![]() ![]() R - The symbols in his ult destination glowed a golden yellow before. This is because everything in his VFX changed except his W. While the cards themselves look the same, the decals glow a different color. W - I know that this change might not be possible, for gameplay reasons, but I think the main decal in the three cards (the body, sword, shield) should be changed to a ghostly green. Could we implement that onto Q card falloff and rotating E cards? W - After choosing a card, there's a black smoke vfx. (It'd be a nice touch to tie the thematic together). Could we swap the rectangle chains for circle chains? As reference to multiple rings magic tricks.ĭeath Vfx - Also add white doves and rabbits that run away from his body when he dies. Maybe add more bubbles? Yellow card's vfx looks the same as base. I think the image on the blue card is suppose to be bubbles? (It's hard to read). W - Blue card's vfx is very underwhelming. Q - Confetti fall-off on the cards would help sell the thematic. Recall - His recall is missing more oomph! Can we add 3 spotlights onto him with falling confetti? Some applause and clapping sfx would also be AMAZING!ĭance - Please add some white rabbits hopping away from him when he dances. I'd prefer dark/light purple instead of blue (don't want his deck to read as only blue cards!). This is because the yellow card's stun has chains, but because the red decal is stationary, it feels like a stun, rather than a slow.Į - I've gotten very used to his passive E having a ring of cards that were red/blue/yellow with purple backs, it's strange that they've become dark/light blue cards. I also wish the red card's red pointed circle decal rotated slowly when it shows up. W - His decals for his cards have gotten updated designs! But I've gotten used to the Eye representing the blue card, and the body silhouette is a bit hard to read when you're zoomed out. Polished enemy versions on R's so it's more opaque and clear. Recolored and added some details to the Destiny Eye Polishing W (Mainly blue and yellow impacts to feel more unique).Īdding more elements to the recall and dance! Please try him out there and leave us your feedback! We're looking for feedback on this update, which should be up on the PBE today. Odyssey Twisted Fate: Minor changes mirroring new baseĬrime City Twisted Fate: Minor changes mirroring new base Pulsefire Twisted Fate: Minor changes mirroring new base Underworld Twisted Fate: Complete overhaul High Noon Twisted Fate: Complete overhaul The Magnificent Twisted Fate: Complete Overhaul Jack of Hearts Twisted Fate: Same as base This update includes The Magnificent Twisted Fate, a legacy legendary skin that has received a new set of VFX, pushing the personality for this skin. It is now time for time Twisted Fate’s, targeted for the 12.10 patch! The update is focused on cleaning, modernizing his kit, and including details from we have seen in other representations of the character across Runeterra. In case you want to know more about the process, We recently published an Dev Article that explains it a little further ( ). Just like all the previous ones, and since these are smaller updates geared toward sprucing up some of the oldest members of the roster, they aren't in the same prioritization conversation as to how we decide who gets a VGU (where we take model, gameplay, and thematic into account too!): they do not affect any other timeline. Our aim is to get their VFXs to current League standards and improve gameplay clarity. He resembles a Red Mage from Final Fantasy.Similar to the previous VFX updates we’ve made in the past (Leona, Orianna, Vel’koz, etc.), we're working on updates to the Visual Effects (VFX) of champions whose spell effects are in need of some love.He references the eponymous playing card. This skin shares the Highstakes theme with:.He has the PAX logo on his shoulders, hat, and belt while his cards become Tarot cards. He is notorious for being one of the rarest skins. He could only be unlocked by a code given out at Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) 2009.As a promotional or event limited skin, he was given away at gaming conventions and events and has not, is not and will never be available for purchase in the store. His very first splash art was directly tweaked for the first splash art of his PAX skin.Bilgewater can be seen in the background. He may also be referencing Setzer Gabbiani from Final Fantasy VI.Magic damage to champions with Stacked Deck (E) ![]()
